McCain Train being a Middle Class Pain: Taxes

3 Aug, 2009  |  Written by geilt  |  under Health Insurance News, Point of View

McCain intends to tax workers for the value of health insurance that they receive from their employers. Is he crazy? The middle class is wh ois suffering the most from this financial crisis. Why would we nee dmore taxes? The government already takes enough out of our monthly paychecks. Also, how is this going to help Healthcare? Now you get screwed no matter where yo turn…what is he trying to do force people to buy private insurance? Rely on the public option if it gets passed? This almost seems to discourage private and employer insurance. Put some of that war money into Healthcare to pay for that tax, in fact, reduce the cost of our employer and private insurance instead of hiking up prices…

Imagine, a percentage of your Health Insurance bill being taxed! Don’t you DARE go for the plan with full or near full coverage, your going to get eaten in taxes. This type of thing makes me so mad, knowing that there are people out there encouraging people to go with no or insuficient care.  And we wonder why we are in the shape we are in…
