Healthcare Reform: Too Many Faces, Too Many Places

The biggest mistake President Obama made with the Healthcare Reform package was to guarentee its certain demise by handing it over to senate committees to create an aggreeable package.

There is no way that many people are going to create a document by consensus, only to have to bring it before various other comittees to again create a document by consenses, which will then need to go back toward the original committee for editing and agreement. This is a redundant procedure that will just go in circles. Nothing will get done and it will remain in Congress forever.

The idea of Universal Healthcare is a nice one. It is a noble one. It is a proper human thing to do. That is why so many believe in it, and so many are advocating it. However, it is not an American thing to do. It is not a capitalistic thing to do. It is a socialistic ideal that leads toward a slippery slope which relies heavily on citizen’s dependency on government regardless their role or career in society.

There are too many different faces involved in this, not only government officials and liberal advocates but corporate sponsors and conservative officials looking to make a buck in whatever way they can. We need to be careful and cautions. Imagine what Healthcare Reform is going to do to our country. No one has even spoken about foreign interest in our current healthcare system. I am sure there are many places with foreign faces involved with our current and forthcoming system.
