Bio: Ely Gracia

Ely Gracia was born in Miami, Florida in 1962. A graduate of Miami Dade College with a major in Business Administration, Ely founded his first company a year after graduating college.

After running a successful international purchasing and consulting company specializing in the Latin America and Caribbean hotel markets for 19 years, Ely sold his equity in the company in December, 2002.

In January 2003, Ely founded GHC Marketing Inc, a licensed health insurance agency based in South Florida that specialized in assisting individuals and families obtain quality and affordable health insurance. The agency employed 20 captive licensed sales agents in addition to many more independently contracted agents throughout the country.

In addition to representing many nationally recognized health insurance carriers, the company also represented various private-label healthcare programs.

In 2008, GHC Marketing merged with VitalOne Health Plans Direct, where Ely became the Vice President of Business Development. Ely is responsible for directing all health insurance sales operations, including hiring and training licensed health insurance agents on the insurance products VitalOne offers.

In addition, Ely is responsible for client satisfaction by ensuring the best quality affordable health insurance plans at the highest ethical standards in the health industry.

Ely is an “active” Florida Licensed Health Insurance agent and holds 42 “Active” Non-Resident Health Insurance licenses in other states. He has been married 21 years and has 3 children. View Ely’s blog entries.
