Rene Luis is a co-founder of VitalOne Health. The son of Cuban immigrants, Rene has worked in the health industry for more than 15 years. With a background in Accounting, Rene entered the health industry as a consultant at an accounting firm. It was then that he discovered the lack of information dedicated to helping individuals and their families find affordable health insurance on their own and saw the opportunity this void presented. It was then that VitalOne was born.

Ely Gracia

Ely Gracia is the Vice President of Business Development at VitalOne Health. Ely has had 24 years of sales experience. He has specialized in health insurance since 2003, with the founding of GHC Marketing Inc, a licensed health insurance agency based in South Florida that specialized in assisting individuals and families obtain quality and affordable health insurance. GHC Marketing merged with VitalOne Health Plans Direct in 2008.

Alyssa Jones

When Alyssa was younger she had a love for writing and learning new information. In high school she was on the yearbook staff and has a love for journalism. She loves taking pictures, went to IRSC for 2 years and would like to go and get her bachelors for journalism at Florida International University. She loves movies and wanted to be a movie critic for a while but changed that idea. She has worked in the Health Insurance field for 5 years now and has recently taken interest in Health and Healthcare related issues. She is currently the primary Verification Specialist at VitalOne Health.

Yamileth Medina

Yamileth began reading newspapers at the age of three. By the time she was ten years old, Yamileth was given her first computer. As an SEO Specialist for VitalOne Health, Yamileth combines her experience with Web 2.0 technology with her love for reading and writing (as well as an interest in politics) to provide informative posts on health insurance and healthcare reform. She strives to inform the public of important developments in an understandable, nonpartisan manner. Yamileth has earned a degree in Marketing from Florida International University, which gave her deeper understanding of the business world. She was born in New Jersey, but has called Miami home since she was five. When not working, she enjoys listening to music, watching Family Guy, and spending time with family and friends.

Michael Brewer

Michael is a new addition to the VitalOne team. A non-country-music-loving native of Nashville, Tenn., Michael recently moved to South Florida after directing corporate communications and marketing strategy for several FORTUNE 500 companies and public relations agencies. A founder of Communicatia, Ink (an independent marketing communications company he founded while working as a business reporter and radio newscaster in Nashville), Michael is an emerging subject matter expert on health insurance and regulatory issues for VitalOne.

Lenneice Drew

Lenneice can’t believe her career turned out to be doing something she absolutely loves. She has always shown a passion for reading and writing and using them as tools to inspire and enlighten others. The Miami native polished her passion during her roles as reporter for The Miami Herald and associate producer with CBS4 News. Currently, as a SEO Specialist for VitalOne Health, Lenneice is helping people achieve healthier lives by finding affordable health insurance alternatives and covering stories related to the health care industry. She lives in Miami, Florida.
